More About Me

I am a Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) through the International Association of Accessibility Professionals dedicating my professional life to crafting inclusive, accessible digital experiences. I spent years in design and user experience practicing user-centric design where I learned about assistive technology and users with disabilities require to efficiently access digital space.

Early in my career I taught myself to code — HTML, CSS, and JavaScript primarily focusing on the user interface front-end development. Through design and code I knew I could have a deeper understanding and control over the user experience for all users and make a larger impact on delivering inclusive products. When the opportunity arose to dive deeper into the accessibility field I took it, allowing me to become an expert in the field and guide other designers and developers towards accessible practices.

I provide accessibility education for design, user experience, and development through lectures and workshops. I also consult and problem solve with companies around the world on delivering the best user experience possible including users with disabilities and those who utilize assistive technology.
